I’m Mafe Jaramillo (MAH-feh hah-rah-MEE-yo), a graphic designer with a focus on illustration and animation. I also  really enjoy editorial, branding, and UI/web, anything that lets me mix structure with creativity. My background in psychology shapes how I think about communication, emotion, and storytelling. My style leans toward flowy, organic, and playful visuals. I’m especially drawn to movement and rhythm, which I see as ways to make design feel alive and emotionally resonant. 

I find inspiration in nature, music, film, animation, travel, everyday life, and the small details most people overlook. Whether I’m working on an illustration, a layout, or a brand identity, I aim to create something intentional, expressive, and clear. My strengths include illustration, editorial design, branding, and UI/web, and I mainly work with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Some of my favourite projects include a full brand identity and website for a tattoo artist, and a complete magazine layout that combined illustration, typography, print production, and motion. 

Right now, I’m focused on growing my skills in animation and illustration. I spend time drawing, exploring new techniques, and taking courses to keep learning. In the future, I hope to work across both studio and freelance projects, and eventually build my own creative studio where I can design, illustrate, and animate work that reflects how I see the world.
